  Although not transcribed, the death date includes "Aug 8". The 1806 birth date also includes "July" & an unreadable number. Given that the death date of a William Bradshaw, age 72, was recorded as Aug 1879 in the nearby 1880 Graham Co., NC Mortality Schedule, we have concluded that the date on this stone is 1879 instead of 1899 and this is the widowed husband of Nancy Noland.³
