The birth date of Wiilam Galloway, the 1st known child of James & Nancy Galloway of Belmont Co., OH was about 1796. William named Ireland as his place of bith in the 1850 census. The couple had about 6 more children before the death of James in 1818. These facts to not seem to fit a 1786 lancaster Co., VA marriage date & location for James & Nancy Galloway of Belmont.
