We have made the assumption that they were Fleming & Barsheba Enix based on circumstantial evidence and the elimination of other possible parent candidates. Besides Fleming, these possibilites include Samuel and Hawkins Woody. The 1840 census for Samuel does not include a suitable female for Martha. We seem to have identified all the daughters of Hawkins enumerated in the 1840 census. The 1840 census for Fleming includes a daughter in the 10/15 range which we have not previously identified.
